We were approaching 66 and started researching SS on the internet. After about 2 weeks of research, we were completely confused & frustrated. By chance we got a mailing for a free SS seminar, so I went. Sounded good (as they all do) but the follow up consultation offered was free, so we did it. We liked how he made SS easier to understand and were amazed about how much more could be done than was being offered on the internet.
Besides educating us on the best way to take SS benefits, he put us on to a soon to be (now closed) caveat in SS that got us $1100 / mo without any negative impact on our long term retirement benefits.
We have followed his advice & been VERY pleased.
Then he helped us with Medicare & saved us significant money on that.
Then he helped us with other insurance issues & we were also very pleased.
Then we gave him our investment portfolio and he is working that now for us........After showing us on our statements from various investment houses where we were being (financially) jerked around.
Then we found out he can do things for us through the VA which NO ONE I know even knew about. He is totally handling that for us after the VA gave me the run around on that stuff.
We have dealt with a number of lawyers, investment people, insurance people, tax people, etc. over the years and been largely unhappy with all of them.
Like those others over the years, Chris made it sound good, what he could do for us. Unlike those others over the years, Chris is the only one who delivered not just what he promised, but more.
He is very available 7 days a week either by E-Mail (which he answers promptly) by phone or if need be in person.
He has not charged us one dime out of pocket for any of the many services he has provided.........not even for going to SS with us recently, and taking care of, in short order, what Jill & I could not do in 2 prior visits, even though we had written instructions for SS from him regarding what we wanted to do.
We can't say enough good about him........After all these years of getting run around by a wide variety of service specialists, we have finally found the real deal.

I was referred to Chris and his firm from a friend who went to an educational seminar of his. I can that I will be forever grateful to my friend, the straight forward approach was refreshing. I never felt like I was being sold. Chris takes all the time it needs for me to understand these issues we al, face in retirement. I was used to my husband doing thus and depended on him to do so in the future, with my husbands passing some years back I ignored the coming reality. My husband would surely approve of Chris Walker. Thanks Chris!

Chris is actually a 5 star advisor, I don't personally give perfect scores to anyone. He was a fantastic resource for My Dad's Nursing benefit for assisted listing. WE never knew Vets had this benefit. Not only explaining it but walking us through the pile of paperwork, Dad was approved in record time. Now we are working with him on our plan.

Chris was incredible when it came to explaing the options I had when filing for my retirement benefits. As a widow i was lost in the complex maze that i found myself in. His patience and easy explanations were a godsend. I highly recommend him.

Prompt , listened to our concerns. Chris not only addressed them but taught us a great deal about social security and medicare. He is our trusted advisor on all things retirement
