About two years ago I got a flat tire. Little did I know
we no longer had road side service with the insurance
we had. Yes, I know, but that’s a story for another
Called CT Exchange. Lisa answered the phone.
Explained my dilemma. She kept apologizing which
was not her fault. Lisa gave me ideas. I signed
up for Triple A. She stayed on the phone talking to me.
Did I mention it was a Friday night. Told her to go home and
be with her family. She said she had no plans, no worries.
We got off the phone. Had to wait for Triple A. Almost
two hours later, Lisa calls me back. She wanted to know if
I received the help. Are you safe? Do you have plans
tonight? It felt like I was on the phone with my sister or
best friend. Who does that? Complete shock, literally.
The owner of the agency called me back.
Been in customer service over thirty years. Lisa went above
and beyond. My issue with the tire was nothing due to the
fact Lisa calmed me and made me smile. Lisa did not have
to do what she did. It just shows what a wonderful human
being she is to everyone.
